They have settled into a comfortable routine, successfully balancing their careers and marriage, but Ted (Seth MacFarlane) is struggling deeply to accept that the wild party days might be permanently winding down. Refusing to grow up and terrified of being left behind by his best friend, Ted decides to throw the ultimate chaotic bash to prove he still has his edge. To achieve this corporate milestone, he needs the original source code, which means he needs to capture Ted alive. To make matters infinitely worse, the billionaire hires John and Ted&#8217;s old, incredibly creepy nemesis, Donny (Giovanni Ribisi), to track down and secure the original blueprint. Donny is more unhinged than ever, equipped with high-tech tracking gear, and he will stop at nothing to finally get his hands on the bear he has obsessed over for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Forced out of their safe and comfortable Boston routines, John, Lori, and Ted must embark on a hilarious, weed-fueled, cross-country road trip to expose the massive corporate conspiracy and save Ted from being reverse-engineered on a sterile assembly line. Along the way, they cross paths with familiar faces, including the fiercely unpredictable Guy (Patrick Warburton) and Ted&#8217;s ever-loyal partner Tami-Lynn (Jessica Barth), who add their own specific brand of madness to the journey.
