For over two decades, the Hades penal colony was meant to be the final resting place for Gabriel Yulaw. In the original struggle for multiversal supremacy, the malevolent version of Yulaw was defeated and exiled to a desolate, tiered prison world where the gravity is crushing and the inhabitants are the most dangerous entities across a thousand timelines. However, the Multiverse Authority made a fatal mistake they assumed the prison would break him. Instead, Yulaw broke the prison.
The One 2 Convergence picks up in 2026, revealing that Yulaw has not only survived but has ascended as the undisputed warlord of the Stygian underworld. By brutally uniting the multiverse’s most ruthless criminals under a single banner, Yulaw has overseen the construction of a crude and highly unstable dimensional breach engine. His singular, obsessive goal remains unchanged to eliminate his final variant, Gabe Law, and achieve a godlike state of existence.
As Yulaw activates his machine, the fundamental barriers between realities begin to dissolve. In the face of this existential threat, veteran Multiverse Authority agent Evan Funsch returns to the field. Yulaw has discovered a horrific method to siphon the raw kinetic energy from the very universes he destabilizes, making him exponentially faster and stronger than he was during their first encounter.
To stand a chance against this cosmic juggernaut, Funsch must track down Gabe Law, who has spent the last twenty years living a quiet, peaceful life. But Gabe is no longer the fighter he once was. To prepare him for the coming storm, they seek out a legendary figure from MVA history an exiled founder living in a pocket dimension. This master, portrayed by Michelle Yeoh, begins training Gabe in a forbidden martial art known as Dimensional Displacement Combat. This style allows a fighter to harness the shifting gravity and temporal fluctuations of a collapsing multiverse to land strikes that bypass physical armor.
Gabe and Funsch are joined by a lightning fast new MVA recruit played by Iko Uwais, a specialist in close quarters combat who utilizes high tech gadgets to navigate the thinning reality. Together, this unlikely team must engage in a cross reality war, hopping through decaying worlds to sabotage Yulaw’s machinery before he reaches his final form.
